Respiratory protection
Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) has been around a long time, gets increasingly sophisticated and is still used in a wide variety of workplaces. It's important to remember that RPE should only ever be chosen as a last resort after all other measures to control the hazard you're facing have been considered. RPE should be used when the level of a hazard exceeds the limits set down by the HSE, or to provide relief from nuisance levels. RPE is divided into two broad categories: filtering respirators and supplied air equipment. The type you need will depend on the type of contaminant you're dealing with and the environment in which you're operating. Correct selection of RPE is critical, as is correct fitting and use. We have years of experience in supplying the right RPE for all kinds of situations. So, contact us and we'll help you make sure you can breathe easily when it comes to making the proper choice for your people. |
