The number of people exposed to severe levels of noise in the workplace is on the rise.

It's been estimated that nearly 30% of workers encounter harmful levels in at least one quarter of the time they're at work - and 11% are exposed all the time.

In February 2006 new European legislation came into effect that means employers must take action to make sure their employees are protected from exposure to harmful noise.

As well as supplying all kinds of earplugs, protectors and defenders we can help you make sure you're meeting your obligations under the latest regulations.

Like other Eurosafe members we believe it's best for you to apply the Four Cs of hearing protection:

  • Comfort - The right hearing protector should feel good in the ear or on the head
  • Communication - The right hearing protector should allow you to communicate clearly with your co-workers
  • Convenience - The right hearing protection should be easily accessible to workers on the job site
  • Caring - Employers should demonstrate that hearing protection is important, not just another rule.
